We are pleased to announce that ITZSOWEEZEE will be featuring exclusive content from PIQUE TORONTO, a project that is spending 100 days profiling 100 artists, producers, fashion designers, musicians, dancers, poets, and more interesting creatives from our great city. From time to time, we’ll have sneak previews of upcoming segments, starting with #19, featuring Che Ruben Hernandez. See below for more information on the project, and visit the official website for full features on each artist.
Take in a sneak pique of #19 – Che Ruben Hernandez’s segment for PIQUE TORONTO. This segment will be posted on PIQUE’s website this Friday.
PIQUE is a project focusing on profiling 100 Toronto youth artists including visual artists, dancers, spoken word artists, fashion designers, skaters, beatboxers, and more. The project plays with the idea of short attention spans by shooting 15 second videos of the artists showcasing their talent. It also includes a photo shoot and a mini-bio about the artist. Ten of the featured artists are from the Cultural Hotspot neighbourhoods in south Scarborough, highlighting the wealth of creative talent throughout the city. This project also features artists from Unity Charity, RISE Edutainment, Remix Project, BeatBox Canada, CJ’s Skateboard Park, and JoyRide 150. PIQUE hopes to introduce a new and creative way of showcasing and promoting artistic talent in the city.
