Them Oakville boys, CHILDHOOD, return with their latest full-length project, Deys’ Day Off. The trio has come a LONG way in the past few years and their skills are on full display on this album. Do your ears a favour and take it in – you won’t be disappointed.
The homie oz, who you may recognize as 1/3 of Oakville hiphop group Childhood, is gearing up to drop his first solo project, BLUE, in early 2017. While oz has proven his chops as an emcee, he steps out of his comfort zone with “Truth”, a very chill R&B/house bit that serves as the second single from his forthcoming release. Stay tuned for more from the young artist in the near future.
Hamilton emcee/singer Park. releases “Somebodies”, a mellow new record that features our Oakville homies Childhood. The record was produced by Toby Chris, and is featured on Park.’s new EP, yzsn, available now via SoundCloud.
Oakville trio CHILDHOOD released their long-awaited album, Holiday, a few weeks ago, and I just now got a chance to listen to it in full. The project, split into two parts appropriately titled Saturday and Sunday, features fourteen tracks that span a variety of genres from hiphop to R&B to indie pop. Showcasing the crew’s diverse style, Holiday is a nice follow-up to their 2015 EP, Guacamole. Stream the album below and get the free download via their official website.
P.S. Respect for the shout out on the outro – keep making music and we’ll keep supporting your work!
